McDSP is pleased to announce the release of the DC-2 Dual Compressor, the latest APB plug-in for the APB-8 and APB-16 programmable analog processors. The McDSP Go Green sale has also been extended until June 30. And for a limited time, every APB hardware purchase will include an Everything Pack bundle.
The DC-2 is two independent compressors that can operate in series or in parallel (split processing). Each compressor includes several models (FET, VCA, Optical), a variety of side chain filter shapes, selectable compression knee sizes, peak and RMS modes, and an auto release option. Each channel output has a customizable saturation stage with EQ-like control over saturation and a variety of saturation modes. On top of all this analog processing, the DC-2 also comes with two bands of double precision EQ that can be placed pre or post the analog compressor and saturation stages. The DC-2 is arguably the most versatile analog process conceived for the APB hardware product line. Like all APB plug-ins to date, the DC-2 is a free update to all registered APB customers.
